Miss Japan, Miss Universe 2007Just woke up earlier than usual and switched on the tv. Initially, I wanted to return to bed again but liking what i saw, i stayed on to finish the program. New knowledge; Miss Japan won this year's Miss Universe while Miss USA was jeered. Two Asian representatives made the top 5. Miss Korea was the other. However, she finished 3rd . Rounding up the top 5 are, Miss Brazil playing bridesmaid to Miss Japan, Miss USA coming in 5th and Miss Venerzula.
Lovely...Some of the poses the ladies struck for their glamour pics were kinda more suited for some erotica magazines. Haha. Nobody's complaining though...Without taking shine off Miss Japan's victory, most of the official sponsors for this contest seem to bear names that resemble those that you will find from the land of the rising sun. Is it pure coincidence or otherwise, we should just be proud of Miss Japan's win, a win for us, Asians and yellow-skinned ppl.
Hmm...just wondering...if the host had announced, "In the event that Miss Universe cannot fulfil her duties, Miss Brazil will assume her duties." Would it cause any confusion? At least, it will sieve out the bimbo if Miss Brazil stepped forward to receive the winner's crown. haha...
